Welcome to TSG CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

TSG CHARITABLE FOUNDATION grounded with its core values of Spreading Love & Humanity is the humanitarian charitable registered organization which was constituted on 30th November 2008 in memory of the centenary birth anniversary of the Legend late. T S Guruswamy to carry forward the legacy created by him in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Legend T S Guruswamy landed in Andaman Islands in early 1930’s. TSG CHARITABLE FOUNDATION is been working towards the elimination of poverty of the poor and working towards various devoted and focused issues in Andaman and Nicobar Islands such as women and child development, health & nutrition, environment, education, protection and promotion of rights of differently vulnerable segments of the society, help to the differently able, patient care in mainland for medical treatment and management of natural disasters relief and rehabilitation in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

TSG Charitable Foundation believes that participatory approach of development and community participation at grassroots level is the key for success of our activities. We would never forget the felt support and positive attitude of the community towards our programs, and we are also inviting them to come closer and extend their full cooperation in the development process that is meant for them.

About Us

TSG Charitable Foundation is a right based humanitarian NGO constituted in the year 30th November 2008 at Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands who desires to take the responsibilities of contributing for the development of the Islands. We have been successfully positioned in the Union Territory of A & N Islands as a truly humanitarian service oriented organization who wants in bringing lasting change through the means of several activities / projects for thousands of needy poor and vulnerable humans. TSG Foundation has been working in all three districts of A & N Islands. We have contributed to the Nation’s fight against ending poverty through our programs especially in the areas of health, education and livelihoods. The organization was formed with a wider concept of holistic and realistic sustainable development approach. TSG Foundation strives for improving the quality of education in remote geographies through educational interventions at community level.

Our Mission

The TSG Foundation aims to unfold and empower the oppressed and marginalized people to make them self-reliant and confident. The main focus is laid on the socially, economically and culturally vulnerable groups like women and children. Therefore, we work together to achieve the envisioned sustainable society.

Founders

G. Paranthaman

The second son of the late Legend T S. Guruswamy, not only serves as a trustee at the Murugan and Vinayagar. Temple in Port Blair City but also boasts over five decades of experience in the business industry, coupled with extensive involvement in social work.

Usha Muthu Kumaraswamy

The wife of the late G. Muthu Kumaraswamy, brings her expertise to the pharmaceutical business in Port Blair, playing a pivotal role as a leading distributor of medicines across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, alongside her active participation with her son, Mr. M. Sachin Kumar, in both business and societal welfare.

G. Dhinakaran

A graduate from Madras University and the fourth son of the late Legend T S. Guruswamy, holds notable positions in various organizations including the Andaman Tamizhar Sangam, Rotary Club of Port Blair, and serves as the General Secretary of the Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI). With over three decades of prominence in the cable network industry across the Andaman Nicobar Islands, his influence extends through both business and community endeavors.

G. Bhasker

The youngest son of the Legend and Chairman of the TSG Charitable Foundation, holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Madras University. His philanthropic spirit inherited from his father resonates profoundly as he leads the TSG Group of Hotels, managing the esteemed TSG Hotels and Resorts in Port Blair, Havelock & Neil Island, and the luxury Dinner Cruise, TSG Bella Bay, dedicated to fostering tourism in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Regarded as a business tycoon, he surprises the community with altruistic deeds, effortlessly navigating challenges and serving as a beacon of strength and vision for the Islanders, embodying the core principles of the TSG Charitable Foundation.
